Premio Gaetano Marzotto

Premio Gaetano Marzotto, sponsored and designed by the association Progetto Marzotto, is a cotest aimed at creating a platform of innovation in Italy founded on the virtuous marriage between entrepreneurial capacity and social vision. It follows the example of what Gaetano Marzotto made in the first half of the twentieth century, and what has made Giannino, recently deceased, the authoritative witness and project mentor; he has followed in first person with the passion, the foresight and the generosity as Matteo Marzotto, the President of the Association, said they hold to him as example and want them to pursued.

Global Game Jam

The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event. It's an hackathon focused on game development. It takes place all over the world from Friday 25th January to Sunday 27th.
This year there are more than 300 locations from 58 countries. 
Codemotion and Indievault organize the event in Rome at Roma 3 University, supported by EnLabs and other sponsors.There'll be about 100 attendees from all over Italy.

Roma Cleanweb Hackathon

The spirit of the Cleanweb Hackathon is to show what you can create in a weekend; specifically, it is the opportunity to apply web, mobile and social media technologies to resource constraint issues, such as energy, waste, transportation, and water efficiency. 

Thanks to our experts and partners involved, you will also have the opportunity to learn about current challenges, open data for sustainability and state of the art in Cleanweb in the US and elsewhere in Europe.
 
The Roma Cleanweb Hackathon takes place in 48 hours the weekend of 30th November through 2nd December 2012, initiating with the kickoff, briefing, idea pitching and team-building Friday afternoon and evening.
 
Participants are free to propose any projects relevant to the themes listed and may make use of open data, data provided by the event partners, or bring their own data. Sunday afternoon, “live” applications are demonstrated to the jury and the public. The best of these win awards.
 
Participating to the Roma Cleanweb Hackathon is free, but registration is required, both for apps team participants and for public and partners attending the kick-off Friday and the presentations Sunday.

Crowdfuture, the first crowdfunding convention in Italy, will showcase some of the best examples and the most successful cases in the brief history of crowdfunding.
The convention will highlight issues, solutions and provide insight to the future of crowdfunding.

Get familiar with Reward-Based and Equity-based Crowdfunding, P2P and Social Lending, and the legal aspects of crowdfunding.

Investor Day EnLabs & Capitali Coraggiosi

On September 26th in Rome the  Roma Startup Association, Startup Accelerator EnLabs and Telecom Italia bring you an event dedicated to gathering the world of capital, startups and policy makers under one roof.

The afternoon will begin with access to the exhibition area where several Italian startups will have the opportunity to show their projects to Italian and foreign institutional investors.

The session "Capitali Coraggiosi" will follow, with a presentation of the activities of the Roma Startup Association and a discussion of the current situation of Italian and International Venture Capital. Specialists investors and members of the industry will try to summarize what are the changes occurring on the Italian scene, and what changes are still needed to match international best practices.

An interview on the Roman innovation scene will follow with Nicola Zingaretti, president of the Province and Gianni Alemanno, Rome’s mayor.

In the second half of the event, Mr. Luigi Capello will lead '"Investor Day" where a short pitch will be presented by the promising and innovative teams participating in the Second EnLabs Acceleration Program: Atooma, Canvace, Cocontest, Geomefree, Mindigno ... and more! There will also be presentations by startups Bulsara Advertising, Interactive Project, NextStyler, Qurami, RisparmioSuper, Soundreef and Urlist.

The event will conclude in the ex Air Terminal dell'Ostiense with Cocktails and Networking by Eataly, the prestigious safeguard of traditional Italian food and wine.
